Terms of BookingA non-refundable deposit will be required upon booking. Deposit cheques must be received within 7 days of date of booking to secure the reservation (except for overseas guests who have 17 days) If no deposit is received by this time attempts will be made to contact guests - if unsuccessful, the booking will be cancelled by ourselves. Payment of balance is payable in full on arrival at Holly House. Credit/Debit cards are not accepted at Holly House for deposits or for payment of balance. Pounds sterling cash or cheques up to the limit of an accompanying valid bank guarantee card drawn from a British Bank are accepted. In case of Non-UK guests, a deposit cheque in guest's own currency will be required to secure bookings. This should be received within 17 days of date of booking. If no deposit is received by this time attempts will be made to contact guests - if unsuccessful, the booking will be cancelled by ourselves. The received cheque will not be cashed but will be returned to guest upon arrival. Payment would then be required in full in Pounds Sterling cash only. Overseas deposit cheques will be cashed in event of cancellation or no-show and less than 48 hours notice of cancellation will result in full amount owed being payable. Check in is available between 3pm and 7pm only. Rooms are to be vacated by 10am on day of departure. Proprietors have the right to re-let rooms not taken at the arranged arrival time unless prior notification of late arrival is received. To ensure your room is not re-let, please call to let us know you are running late. Please give at least 48 hours notice of cancellation. Less than 48 Hours notice of cancellation or no-show will result in full amount owed being payable. In addition, if a guest's stay is cut short for any reason, we regret that no refunds will be made under any circumstances - it is therefore highly recommended that guests are adequately covered by travel insurance for cancellation or curtailment of stay. During busy periods, when levels of demand for accommodation is expected to be high, a minimum 2 or 3 night stay may be required, particularly during weekends. This will be specified at time of enquiry. Free parking is available for guests during their stay. Cars are parked at owner's risk. Car parking spaces are to be vacated upon check out unless prior arrangements have been made with the proprietor. If you wish to leave your car later than check out, please ask. Car Parking spaces, guest bedrooms and all communal areas of Holly House are for the sole use of guests staying at Holly House. We are therefore unfortunately unable to accommodate visitors of guests. We regret that we are unable to accommodate children under the age of 12 years. If you have a child between the ages of 12 and 16 in your booking party, please ensure we are notified of their age upon booking to ensure correct room allocation when you book. Breakfast is served between 8 and 8.45am. (Times may vary during winter). Guests are asked to choose a time for breakfast upon arrival for their stay. Please note that the last breakfast sitting is 8.45am. If your chosen breakfast time is missed by yourselves breakfast may be unavailable after that time. Choice of breakfast times may be limited during busy periods. Holly House is a strictly non-smoking house. As well as providing guest accommodation, Holly House is our private residence and smoking is not permitted. An outside smoking area with seating and ashtrays is provided for guests who wish to smoke. Smoking in any room in Holly House or smoking out of bedroom windows is strictly forbidden. Due to strict fire regulations and risks of fire hazard due to smoking we must stress that any guests found smoking within the house will be asked to leave and to find alternative accommodation with no refund of accommodation costs. If in the unlikely event that we have to cancel guests accommodation due to circumstances above and beyond our control, as much notice as possible, in writing, will be sent to guests informing them of this and a full refund of deposit will be returned along with the letter. Alternative accommodation must be sourced by guests themselves and Holly House has no responsibiity to pay for alternative accommodation. |
